French House Farm is dedicated to the concept of community resource agriculture. CRA farms are local farms who have made a commitment to provide healthy and sustainable food to their communities.
We have formed good relationships with others who believe in providing healthy and wholesome foods to our communities and positively impacting our lifestyles. In stride with our goal, we happily support local farmer’s markets. We participate in the Park Ridge Farmer’s Market on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month during the market season – crops permitting, of course. The Park Ridge market season for 2018 closed in September, but we hope to see you next year! We are planning our produce selection for 2019. We are sticking with some of the oldies, but goodies. Our fruit selection next year will be apples, blackberries, blueberries, pears, strawberries, and tomatoes. Our vegetable selection will be beets, lettuce, onion, potatoes, and squash.
At French House Farm, we also grow several varieties of lavender and mint. We will probably explore a cooking class or two with these too. Cooking classes are held at 21 Acres in Woodinville.
