At French House Farm, we have lent our attention to learning the best ways to approach gardening in order to utilize things we produce here on the farm. From composting to hybridizing seeds, we focus on ways to use what is available and to recycle wherever possible. We have been successful at turning these efforts into producing a wide array of fresh, seasonal fruits and vegetables.
If you are local, come by and check out what we’ve been growing at the Park Ridge Community Market! You will find us there on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month. Typically, crops permitting, we offer an assortment of berries – blackberries, blueberries, pineberries, and strawberries. We also offer apples, pears, and several varieties of lavender and mint. Our herb and vegetable selection is alternating, but includes beets, cucumber, lettuce, radishes, peppers, tomatoes, and for fresh herbs, basil, cilantro, dill, garlic, and oregano.
For those who are interested in fiber arts, there will be a selection of Angora and Pygora fiber available to choose from. It is sold by the yard as roving.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
